It’s flu season and there are many things you can do to naturally prepare for keeping healthy as the cough and cold bacteria fill the air.
Angela Bewick, holistic nutritionist at Amaranth Wholefoods Market walks you through what you need to do to avoid colds and flu this season. With so much to think about, it’s a great idea to pop into your local Amaranth store and see what they have for you. If you’re prepared for the season you can relax and enjoy Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas as it was meant to be – flu free!
Is it a common cold or the flu? It’s a great idea to know the difference! If your symptoms are above the neck—congestion, sore throat, sneezing, coughing—you probably have a cold. If you have all those symptoms plus a fever of 38.8˚C (102˚F) or more, headache, muscle aches, extreme fatigue, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, you’re more likely to have the flu.
Either way, a quick trip to your local Amaranth store can have you fixed up and feeling better in no time. Find your nearest store by visiting their website or it’s listed below.
